Clear All Cache/mimic exit.

Is there any way to clear all the cache of a current menu or mimic the menu exiting and rentering.

I tried clearmenuCache() but that has no effect. When chaning one option on my addin the addin becomes sluggish to respond but if you exit the add-in and return all is well so trying to mimic this when the options is changed/set.

Are you reloading the current menu after calling ClearMenuCache()?

See the default STV for an example of how it is used there -- the default STV uses a lot of the API calls & is a good place to check for example usage.

Andy by reloading do you mean just putting a reference to the menu item after that? I guess there is no need for refresh if you are doing that right?
