HD100 doesn't remember settings

I set my HD100 to output 1080p but each time I fire it up it's reversed to 480p. It also doesn't remember the sorting scheme - reverts to alphabetical and doesn't stick to original air date.

I'm using the latest beta firmware and Sage 6.5.19RC.

The HD100 doesn't remember
- the output resolution. I set it to 1080p60, but it switches back to 480p every time it's turned on
- the video recording sort criteria. I set it to original air date, but it switches back to alphabetical.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Check your "clients" directory. It sounds like the property file is corrupted or Sage can't access the directory containing the properties. I'd probably just stop Sage and delete the properties file.

The properties file for the extender are stored in a file with the same name as as MAC address of the client suffixed with ".properties".

Where did you set the default resolution? I believe you need to set it in stand alone mode (on the screen where you tell sage what resolutions your tv supports.. .change the resolution to the default resolution you want here), not when you are connected to the server.

Yup - you're right, I did figure this out this morning.

As for the other setting, I followed Tom's advice and deleted the properties file. Had to go through setup again but now it remembers sort order. All's good!
