DVDs can't stream well- 6.5.20 & HD 200

I keep getting poor performance when attempting to stream ripped DVDs (full folder structure) from my NAS. I notice stuttering so bad that the video is unwatchable.

The interesting thing is that if I run the video on my HD100 (running latest beta firmware) - it's fine. If I run it on the HD200 (running latest beta firmware) in stand alone mode (not connected to Sage Server) - it's fine. The issue is only noticed when I attempt to use the connected HD200.

The past release (and all before it) never showed this issue. Any ideas ? Is this somehow bandwidth related (I don't think so)? I would appreciate any ideas that you have out there...

In your properties file on the SageTV server find the following line:
miniplayer/forced_max_push_size=

The default (I believe) is miniplayer/forced_max_push_size=131072

Try the following settings:
miniplayer/forced_max_push_size=65536 and miniplayer/forced_max_push_size=32768

If that doesn't solve the problem submit a support ticket.

Don't forget to stop the HD200, SageTV and/or SageTV Service while editing the properties file and then restart after the edit.

EDIT: the default line reads miniplayer/forced_max_push_size=0 (but when set to 0 the actual def is 131072)

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried making both changes (stopped service, restarted and checked that they took). Neither one significantly changes the stuttering.

I'll log a bug with support now.

Too bad...everything so far has been incrementally improved...this is a step back for me.
