HDHR EPG issues after install

I have been using Sage for a few years now with Hauppauge cards, but purchased and installed a HDHR today because of the Comcast digital switch.

I installed the latest sage for windows 6.5.9 and the latest drivers for the hdhr 20090415.

I now have a few channels that say "no Data", and realize now on reading forums that it may take a while for the EPG to catch up. Is there a way to force it to download the correct EPG? How long will the normal schedule take to straighten things out?

I also notice that shows I recorded previously playback jittery, like they are running at 17 fps or something. Sound is also affected.

Also I note that my favorites, even on the channels the have data, are not being scheduled. Do I need to research and set up all my favorites?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Unless those channels & lineups were already in use, it can take a while to download all the EPG data, so give it some time if you just finished installation.

Next, make sure the channels are mapped to the correct stations in SageTV. Make sure you followed these instructions: HDHR setup for Windows. And, the channel scan / channel remapping menus have been improved in the latest beta, including showing the station ID so you can see if a channel is mapped to a Zap2it station (ID >= 10,000).

Your Favorites will use the data on the new channels once the EPG data is downloaded and the scheduler has time to be updated.
