Yep, my 9400 card was smooth as silk with almost 0% CPU usage under Linux with VDPAU (MythTV and MPlayer). No problems there.

Playback was perfect on MPC-HC for Blue-ray on just the 785 chip set. Just when I tried to watch a HDPVR recording in Sage did I get the issue.

Hi Qian,

I'm trying the patch, but I've problems trying to play files stored in the library.
The files have been recorded using DVBViewerRecorder for Sage. I've done the following three steps:

- Watch LiveTV -> OK
- Watch .TS file from library -> no effect, playback didn't start at all
- Watch .TS HD file from library -> sage started to try something, but it gave me the classic error....unable to render the video portion of the file....

I attach here the log file generated, hope this can help

Well update 5 seems to have smoothed out my studdering issue

At least from my very limited testing.

Installed this last night to see if it would fix my HD-PVR recordings. Worked great, and even the sound sync problem went away!

BTW, when playing back a high bit rate .ts file, it crashed when jumping far into the file. Tried again, all was fine. Sorry, no time to add all the testing stuff for the next few weeks. (out of town a BUNCH) Should have time in October if still in beta then.

When I scan a dvb-s channel using the latest release of SageTV without the "Native Recording update 5" installed, Sage will not find the channel.

I installed "Native Recording update 5" and SageTV finds the channel but I am not able to view the channel. I only get "No signal". If I close SageTV I get the error file "hs_err_pid3756.log".

I startup SageTV again and I get the error file "hs_err_pid2744.log". When I close SageTV this time I get the error in the image "error.jpg".

Using a TBS 6920 PCIe DVB-s/s2 card. I am able to watch some dvb-s channels, but other I receive the errors above.

Edit: Added files "NATIVE_LOG.ENABLE" and "MPEGDEMUX_LOG.ENABLE". See error2.zip

I didn't had a chance to play around with this until now, but I just noticed that this setting seems to be default as I had never changed it, and it is already present. I'm recording .ts files with my hdpvr and .mpeg for OTA channels (which is the way how it's supposed to be).

Anyhow, the timeline is still broken, and it repros fpor both types of tuners. Also, I'm kind of surprised that nobody else has this issue...

Could you capture raw stream data to upload?

I'm having a problem with no signal on clear QAM channels using

DShowCapture.dll Version 3.0.0.15

The problem goes away as soon as I restore the old version of DShowCapture.dll

ff issues
When i try to ff a recording in progress the first press goes to the end of the recording and the second press goes back to the original position plus 10 seconds. this is happening on hdpvr recordings as well as ota recordings. server is running on vista. i did not apply any of the new filters to the server just to the client.
