Crossfire & Sage Client CPU - Help or Hurt?

Is it worth using Crossfire on a Sage client HTPC or does that do nothing to accelerate HD and H.264 material played from a Sage server?

I only ask because I happen to have a couple of 3650 cards that are the same sitting around and I would try it if it would matter.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Multi-GPU stuff is really just for gaming. Most any recent, single GPU, will handle hardware video acceleration just fine on its own.

I figured as much. I just thought I'd give it a whirl since I happened to have a couple of identical cards hanging around. I hooked it up but it really made things worse, just as you suggested. I just wanted to make sure I was not
