wierd menu colors and video colors off
I bought a key for a SageTV client on another PC and activated it. I was recording an NFL football game today in HD. When watching it on my older SageTV client computer, it looks great. Nor problems...ever.
But for some reason the menu colors of the SagetV software GUI look very washed out on this newer SagetV PC. I am not sure why the sagetv GUI would look so different. Its much darker (and seems to be using fewer colors to display it. Almost like it was using 4 bit color or 8 bit color pallet). The menu looks pretty dark. Not the normal blue color that I am used to.
Otherwise everything else seems OK on it...as far as I know.
When I watched the NFL game on this newer sagetv client PC, the video seemed considerably darker, and all the backgrounds in the video (like when they showed a close up of a player or coach on the sidelines) such as the stadium wall, were very washed out too. And the colors of the faces of the players and other people seemed to be washed out also.
I have never seen this happen before on any of my sagetv clients or MVP's.
The display is using a projector onto a wall. I tried different settings on the projector but nothing seemed to matter.
So I am wondering if there are some settings in the sagetv client I am needing to tweak. Or I suppose it could be in the ATI control panel where I need to adjust stuff.
I really hope I can make it look more normal
