HVR-2250 lowering digital settings

I have 2250 set on whs. I want to lower the recording settings so the file size is smaller. Is there a way to do this?

Not on the digital side. Any digital capture, is simply recording the digital stream to your hard drive. No conversion is done. The size of the file, is the size of the file. You can't make it smaller unless you convert it after it has been recorded using either Sage's transcoder or some external program.
