streched edges on sage playback

I have been searching through the forums but all I have found is problems with HD setups. I have an HD widescreen monitor (1080I) but I do not have HD for a source. My source is only a dish network 811 SD box going to my hauppauge pvr1600 tuner card and then it is being displayed on the TV via a nvidia mx4-4000 graphics card with s-video out. The problem is that what ever I view with sage it is always stretched at the edges and on action shows this can get somebody a little dizzy I have sage set to 4.3 AR and the DN box is set to 4.3# 2 output (which seems to be a great picture when run directly to the TV but when watching the same show through the PC/sage the picture is stretched at the left and right edges. Is this a norm. or is it a setting issue? The PC monitor (CRT) has no strecthing and the picture is great.

Im almost there folks so please bear with me, other than a few bugs right now at the begining, sage is fastly becoming a favorite here! Thanks. BG

What is the resolution set to for that TV?

You hit it mitch, the setting for the tv was 4.3 expanded, so I switched it to 16:9 std and then used the sage overscan and aspect settings and made a perfect circle and it was good. Thanks. Now if I can just get my picture quality to be alittle better, its still a bit grainy during motion and once in a while I get a "scan line" or "flicker" acrossed the screen. But as long as I am making progress then theres still hope. Thanks. BG
