Exit SageTV from within GUI

This may seem like a dumb question, but I can't seem to find a way to exit the application once it's open, through the menus. Anybody know of a way?

I don't "think" there is a way through the menus. I don't have much experience with the Default STV but you can always go to Setup -> Exit Full Screen Mode and then exit the application. There is also ALT+F4. You may look in the SageTV Manual under Exiting Sage TV, too.

In SageMC, there is a power button in the top left of the screen that lets you control Sleep and Exit.

If you use SageMC, there's a button at the top left of the main menu that does this.

Use the Dynamic Menus plugin and paste the following menulet into it and you will have an Exit menu item.


Exit SageTV (or placeshifter) cleanly
This menuitemlet when pasted into the dynamic menu will add a menu item that will shut down the SageTV or SageClient? UI. There is a confirmation prompt of course, and you can always pincode-protect it! Take care when shutting down the server when not running in service mode -- you don't want to miss any recordings!

Sweet, I'll play with this and see if it does what I want, but it sounds like what I'm looking for!
