DTS-HD, DTS-HD MA, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD

Hi, I'm interested in getting an HD200. I read that DTS isnt supported. I'm curious if I were to hook up an HD200 via optical cable to my receiver that supports DTS-HD, DTS-HD MA, Dolby Digital Plus and TrueHD.. if I will hear the audio. If so, is there anything special I need to do on the HD200 for it to work? Do I just leave my receiver on the optical input and all audio formats will be heard without me having to do anything? Thanks.

The HD200 will pass the DTS & DTS HD's DTS core to your receiver that supports DTS formats.

The HD200 will pass the DD5.1 and True HD's 5.1 core to your receiver OR TV without any limitations.

All audio formats will pass out via Optical or HDMI to your receiver.

Not too sure about LPCM on the HD200 - but think it works to receiver - not sure if it works to TV.

DTS is supported for passthrough, but not decoding (no issue if you're running an AVR/SSP).

Yes, well, for Blu-ray, where DTS-HD* and TrueHD include a legacy core, the extender will extract and play the legacy core (DTS, DD). DD+ is not used on anything but HD DVD, which is dead and not directly supported in any way by Sage. You won't get the "HD" audio, it can't decode nor bitstream those, but you'll get the core.

You just have to set the audio output to bitstream.

I am finally starting to dabble in ripping blu rays. My first attempt was Blade Runner Final Cut and I created and mkv file with and aac (faac) mixed down in Dolby pro logic ii and a DTS Passthru track in handbreak. The dts pass thru does not appear as a second track on my hd200. Am I doing something wrong?
