MakeMKV file issues

OK, I love what MakeMKV is intended to do and it works well for some material, but I have serious issues with most output files.

If I backup a dvd to my sage directory it is then plaid back at 480i and everything (including inverse telecine) functions as it should. If I backup the same dvd using MakeMKV, it will not display correctly in 480i, or any other resolution. These files play perfectly on my pc, but not in in the HD200. I get deinterlacing and scaling issues and I can forget the inverse telecine

Strangely the exception is anything that was 480p/30 native (i.e. cars, toy story, etc.) these work fine.

Is this an issue with the MakeMKV output or is this an issue with how the HD200 handles the MKV file in 480i.

Backups of blue-ray work fine.

Any help is appreciated.
