Red and Yellow Indicator Bars?

Ever since I upgraded to V7, I no longer have the red indicator bar in the OSD (showing your position in the show), or the yellow bar in the EPG (showing where you are in the timeslot). Were these removed, or did something go wrong with my upgrade?

They should be displayed. What version are you using, what STV is loaded, and what theme is being used? All of that is on the System Information screen -- use Info while on the Main Menu.

I'm using beta 7_0_11, I use a slightly tweaked version of the default stv, but the problem is still there with the default one. The only "theme" that is available is the "standard" one. Is it supposed to still have the 720p and 1080p theme options that version 6 had? I just assumed those had all been integrated into one, or that they would be included with the final version.

Standard is the default theme. Make sure System Information says that is what is being used & that the STV hasn't been modified.

GridCurrentTimeBar.png should be in the theme directory; that's used for the yellow bar in the program guide. Theone in the OSD is just the color red used to draw a line.

By any chance, did you previously use v7.0.12, then go back to v7.0.11 & somehow have theme settings from 7.0.12 still in place?

I am running:

Software version 7.0.12.234
STV 7.0.11.0 (june 14th)
theme standard
In the themes folder, I only have "standard"
"GridCurrentTimeBar.png" is in the standard theme folder, but it is a blank image? (I did not modify it in any way)

The last veresion I had on the server was 6.6, and I upgraded to v7 from there. The instructions said you had to have v6 allready installed, so I shut the service down and ran the v7 installer.

If you are using a v7.0.11 STV with beta v7.0.12, then you aren't using the default STV that came with the v7.0.12 beta. You are using an older one, perhaps one you customized?

My mistake, I do use a slightly modified version that I created in studio (just some slight tweaks to the main menu). The bars are both still missing even when I switch over to the default stv though.

You should be saving your UI mods in the form of an STVI plugin. Then your changes will be automatically re-applied to the most current version of the stock STV as it continues to be updated throughout the beta.

OK, I didn't know that. I'm about to redo my custom theme, and i'll make sure that I do it that way this time. Any idea why the pic for the yellow EPG bar would still exist, but be blank?
