HD100 DTS-MA pass through?

I have several BDs ripped to my server with a DTS-MA track. What do I need to do, to have my receiver decode the DTS-MA track? Right now there is no sound. My receiver is connected to my TV via HDMI. And my HD100 is connected to my receiver via HDMI. (AC3 and True HD tracks work)

How have you configured your HD100 audio settings?

Bitstream or PCM?

Most likely you have it setup to PCM.

If you set it up as bitstream, the HD100 will pass the core Dolby True HD or DTS MA, ie Dolby AC3, DTS respectively to your receiver.

You will then be able to hear DTS from your receiver. The TV will get both AC3 and DTS audio but most TVs can only decode AC3 audio so for DTS audio you will have to use your receiver.

hd100 nor hd200 supports bitstreaming or sending hd-audio formats. They currently just extract the core dts or dolby digital tracks. You can not get hd audio from hd100 or hd200 extenders.

You can setup bitstreaming in the extender options (hit stop before sagetv connects). It will just bitstream the dts or dolby digital track though as per above.

A bit more clearly.

The HD100/200 can bitstream the AC/DTS core of the DD TrueHD/DTS MA respectively.

To get the full HD audio other hardware is required.

Thank you for your reply. I'm clear on HD100/HD200 dose not decode DTS-MA and that a receiver is required. However what I'm still unclear on is how to configure the HD100 to bitstream to the receiver? When I go to the audio settings on the HD100 the only option available is to select how its connected. (HDMI,component, composite etc.) Nothing about PCM/Bitsream. Can someone please clearly explain this? THANX!
(I'm using firmware version 201002120)

I believe it's in detailed setup (not output config).

I don't have an HD100 anymore but I think it is "Settings | Audio Output | SPDIF" (choose this for bitstream even if using HDMI).

In the Audio Output Menu you have to select S/PDIF. Not HDMI.

A bit misleading but this how it works.
