MyMovies External Player Support

Hey Plucky...I continue to struggle to find an elegant way to playback Blu Ray folders in SageTV. I do own TMT3. I have noticed that MyMovies Collection has the ability to configure for "External Players". Is this supported in any way within SMM? I have not seen any reference in the WIKI or forum. If not, is it something which could be considered in the future?

I believe sage supports launching external players but I am not the one to answer how as I only use extenders

Hi PLUCKYHD,

There is an Plugin that allow you configure one or more external application to be launched with the name of the file.

Maybe you and the colleagues that developed that plugin can work and implement it for MyMovies.

It is very usefull because sometimes SageTV has problems to deal with Dolby True HD and DTS HD MA audio and I am using Media Player Classic and TMT3 for that, but is not possible to use it in MyMovies but only in default video menu feature.

I am sending some screenshots about that feature.

Yeah that is possible I would just need to link to it and offer it as an option please place it on googlecode as a request.

+1 to the external player support request or more specifically Virtual CloneDrive to mount the image so any player will pick it up.

I thought sagetv v7 handled that automatically since they now support iso?
