Linux Placeshifter - Multiple Windows

Running the current 6x release version of STV Media Center on a Windows Xp box, with various Linux (Ubuntu) placeshifters and Windows clients. Under Linux (Ubuntu 10.04) the placeshifter client will open a second window (mplayer) when I start to watch anything. The controls remain on the first/main window. I seem to recall fixing this before, but cant seem to find the post which covered this behavior. how can I get the video to play in the same window was the placeshifter client/controls?

I had this happen on a 64 bit install of Ubuntu awhile back. Reason it happens is because PS does not support the 64 bit JVM. Only solution I found was Windows running in Virtualbox....

You can install the 32bit JVM on a 64 bit OS. It runs fine.

HAH so there is a way. Where were you a year ago Gerry?

It never was a really big issue for me but it's nice to know that it works
