WinTV-HVR-2250 IR for setup box

Hello, how can i make work the IR blaster from my WinTV-HVR-2250?, i have it working with MCE but with Sage i cannot manage to enable it to change channels for my setup box. thanks

Install the IR software that comes with the IR blaster before installing Sage. And then make sure the default box is checked in Sage to use it when you install Sage. ALso reference the Sage manual that is installed with the program.

IIRC, I think there was a setting in the Hauppauge configuration software where you told it whether you were using it with Windows MCE or something else. I'm not sure if this applied to the blaster, the IR receiver, or both. But, if you set it to MCE, it won't work for anything but MCE.
