Covers Problem

At some point SMM stopped recognizing new covers. When I add something new to the Library it will show up and play in the MyMovies Library but it will not have a cover image. It will look fine in MyMovies Collection Manger and in Win7 MediaCenter but they are missing in SageMyMovies. The associated cover art appears fine.


"Clash of the Titans" is a recent add with the problem but SpiderMan 1&2 also have problems and I think they used to work. (Almost all the older movies work fine.) All the new Netflix Que items also have this issue but the problem was present before the Recent Hulu\Netflix addin.

Although I am not sure exactly how. I appear to have solved this.

I was using the Default Cover Style in Collection manager on the server. I changed it to Plastic (The only option I had). It went off and did something. I also went into the Database Option in SMM and used "Rebuild Datafile"
At this point I had no covers at all and went into SMM Fanart Option "Re-Cashe" and everything came back.

In short, I hit a lot of buttons and something fixed it. Seems like a did a Re-cashe early on and it did not fix it but in the end that is what made them all show up again.

Wish I know what fixed it fir future use but it is now working. Thanks,

Was probably a scaling caching issue glad you got it resolved.

IMHO changing the coverstyle fixed it, as it forces MM to reexport all your covers.

I think the is a bug where mymovies doesnt always export the cover, so SMM cant get it. I am pursuing on the MM forums.
