I love the "genres" screen shot. I believe you said something about "folders" coming soon too... is the intent that it will be the exact same look as that Genres screenshot, but the left column will be your folders instead of Genres?

Because that would be really cool.

No we let you build views for your folders so each folder can be it's own view if you want.

Yes looks awesome!

For a second, I thought that "American History X" and "Hannibal" were "Comedies!"

Taking a second look, I now understand the UI. I was thinking they were independent swim lanes (3 categories show simultaneously). That would not really make practical sense btw - as if I need to state it!

You shouldn't be so modest, a great design is nothing without the dev that brings it to life!
Credit to both of you, it's looking really good!

I have just been browsing through the long history of this thread. The pic below caught my attention. The salient feature I wish to point out is the header, which displays a cover of the movie and some of the movie meta data--->looks great. On my current install I only see a a captured thumbnail of the movie without any metadata.

Am I missing something in my setup or has this feature yet to be implemented. Thanks.

Upcoming Diamond Simplified Theme

I haven't posted any screen shots for a bit so here goes, new theme for the package and lots of cool stuff coming soon. Lots and lots of options added from the boys (Plucky and EP) to make it look like you want it to.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I love the new disk bar. Any chance it could be visible in the recordings screen as well as the main menu?

Only on Main Menu and it would probably clutter up the recordings screens if we tried to work it into those layouts. The default diskbar (Diamond themed) will still be availible in the footer for the other screens.

Screenshots look awsome. As a current (and very happy SMM) user, I really like the movie screens and many of the similarities. Can someone answer if filtering of movie covers based on rating will in available with next version of Diamond? (similar SMM function)?

The core sagetv parental controls are pretty much useless if I can't also filter viewable content on my childrens media extender.

I'm loving all the new features, particularly the ListFlow and all the OSD options. The main screen widget looks great also, I always thought it was wasted space there and some useful info could fill it up.

I can't wait for this release.

I think even the "Sage Is Ugly" 7MC guys will have to admit: "Wow"! Other than CC, Sage with Diamond blows 7MC away (and I personally think native Blu-ray playback, cancels out the CC advantage). THANK YOU GUYS!
