Universal Remotes MRF-350 and HD-300

I just got my HD-300 in today and I love it. Navigation on this thing is lightning fast compared to the HD-200.

I'm also very happy that I did not need to reprogram the remote.

So, I have an MX-450 w/ MRF-350. The HD-200 was fairly easy to setup as medium sensitivity and the blaster in the middle of HD-200 was perfect for me.

I'm not having the same luck w/ the HD-300. Going by the blinking blue light, it looks like it is over-saturating the IR even turned all the way down. I tried moving the blaster around slight off to the IR receiver on the HD-300 and still the same.

The setup is not bad, it's just not nearly as fast and responsive as the hauppage remote it comes with. I would say it's about half the speed.

Has anyone else had any luck w/ the setup? Any suggestions on placement?

FWIW - I am using a mix of Atlas5 and URC-6131N remotes with HD300s and they seem to be fine.
