HD300 New Beta Breaks Analog Audio

Well, it does on mine at least! Updated the HD300 to the beta and lost my analog audio totally. I tried resetting it a couple times, but nada I use HDMI our plus stereo analog audio.

So I can try this on my setup - what exactly isn't working? Is it a stereo-only source with HDMI or something else?

I get absolutely no audio on any type of file using HDMI+analog audio. So using the breakout cable for the audio plus hdmi for video. Worked fine prior to the beta.

By "the beta" you mean firmware version 20100921-0? (Always best to be specific, since there could be a new firmware version tomorrow, especially if there's a bug in today's.)

Did you try rolling back to the previous beta firmware (20100909-0)? Does that fix it?

Sorry, I mean the new beta firmware that came out yesterday. I haven't tried a rollback yet, I wanted to see if there was anything else the Sage guys needed first.

Other than opening up a Supoort ticket and providing logs when they ask I don't think they're going to need much more. But you usually won't have then addressing that here. Log a support issue.

Yes, I did that yesterday. I'll go back to the older firmware tonight, wasn't sure if there were logs or anything they would need. It wasn't a big deal yesterday since I could use HDMI for everything I needed.

It may take up to 72 hours for them to respond. And they may ask for logs. If you're going back to the older firmware you may just want to create those logs in anticipation.
