SMM Thumbnails on an HD300

I am having trouble with DVD thumbnails on my extender. When I update an image or add a new DVD, it shows up normally on my Sage GUI. The same movie that shows normally on the Sage GUI shows a simple box(green background) with the name of the show in it on my HD300 extender. I have tried turning the extender off/on with no luck. I have tried doing a rescan and also no luck. I full DB rebuild of SMM fixes the problem, but I would rather not do that every time I add a movie.

Also, when I select any movie that is showing this box instead of the thumbnail, the movie information and movie title remain on whatever movie was selected just prior. For example, I just added Bourne Supremacy. To get to this movie I end up selecting Bourne Identity first because of the sort order. When I do select the new movie, the title and metadata displayed remains that of the Bourne Identity. Same problem happens if I go backwards in the list except the movie that remains displayed is the Bourne Ultimatum.

I have 2 movies with this symptom. One was added new after the DB was built and the other was updated to use a new thumbnail.

Any ideas?

Have you upgraded to the latest versions of MM, Sage, SMM, and Collection Manager?

What type of logs do you need? Also, since this is an extender only issue, is it the same log?

Yes same logs see the sticky (very to post it has a link to the debug logs and how to do them). I will also need your sagetv_0.txt server log. You will need to enable the server logging or extender and degub messages.

cheers

As your wiki instructs, I have created a GoogleCode ticket and submitted the log files.

you said mm collection manager 3.17 but you need version 3.17 pr3 or later (cuurently only 3.18 pr2 is available on the mymovies site.

I haven't looked at your log yet but that definitely would be the issue if you aren't running the correct version of mymovies

On the mymovies.dk site, you can download 3.17 and 3.18PR2. The 3.17 version was released late September so I figured it was the latest 3.17 version. I am now upgrading to 3.18PR2 and will see if that fixes the problem.

Okay let me know if it doesn't and be sure to rebuild the datafile under the configuration options for smm-api after upgrading the collection manager.

Looks like getting MyMovies 3.18 PR3 fixed the problem.
