How do I get a .properties file from an ISO's in a video imports folder?

In the past, I've seen BMT add a properties file for my bluray ISO IIRC over time without me doing anything special. I have recently converted my ripped folders with a BDMV, CERTIFICATE, etc to a single file ISO. However, now I can't figure out how to get a properties file for them. I have rescanned for new video import items in sageTV many times.

Maybe I changed a configuration setting somewhere? The only times I get a properties file for a bluray disc rip is for the ones with folders in them; which I would prefer to stay away from.

I am using Slysoft's Virtual CloneDrive.. which mounts the iso as a drive. But, not sure if that's necessary or not. I also added to sageTV imports folder the drive letter F: to look for videos (F: is the virtual drive that Virtual CloneDrive mounts ISO's to).

Maybe this is more of a sageTV configuration issue than BMT, but I'm hoping someone here might know the answer to this pretty quickly; as, I know I'm not the only one that has ISO's in their video import collection.

Edit: At some point everything was working, so I know it can be done. I just dont know what is required for this to work and for BMT to detect these ISO's and make a respective .properties file

BTW: I already checked, I have in my properties file:
seeker/video_library_import_filename_extensions=.mpg,.mpeg,.mp2,.mpeg2,.mpe,.avi,.divx,.mpg1,.ts,.wmv,.asf, .wm,.tivo,.m2t,.vob,.flv,.mp4,.mov,.trp,.m4v,.ogm,.3gp,.mkv,.dvr-ms,.m2ts,.mts,.tp,.iso

Thanks in advance!
Michael

BMT doesn't actually load properties files... the core sagetv does. At the time that BMT would create .properties files, it used to have to to update the timestamp on the mediafile so that sagetv would rescan the file, and then load the .properties. Sagetv only loads the .properties when a file is added to the collection, or when the timestamp on the mediafile changes.

Sean, maybe I didnt word it right. I'm not getting any properties files. Nor do I see sageTV listing these iso's in it's imported videos list. Not sure what I'm missing.

Okay, it looks like I might have figured it out. I had the sageTV demux disabled since it can't handle MKV/h.264 files too well... doing so, also disables detecting iso's for some reason. As far as properties files go, I dont think that BMT makes a .proprerties file for .iso's. At least it didnt for me. However, it did download fanart and store metadata. I'm just not sure where the metadata is stored if there's no properties file in the same folder as the .iso.

Any ideas?

I don't know the answer to your question, but BMT doesn't create .properties files. If you have the core sagetv property enabled, update_external_properties_files_on_metadata_changes, then sagetv will create them when bmt updates the metadata. (you can enable this via the configuration in the web ui, under SageTV -> Metadata Settings.)
