Possible bug in conflict resolution

I am not sure if Sage claims to have smart conflict resolution or not so this may just be working as designed. I had Days of Our lives (for the wife I swear) scheduled to record reruns and first runs. It found 3 channels, QAMNBC, SOAPnetwork, and HDPVRNBC. Since I thought soap was just reruns of the same day I picked QAM and HDPVR for possible channels to record from. After that I got conflicts on the HDPVR for Imagination Movers in the 1PM timeslot. I expected sage would just record the QAMNBC version of Days and use the HDPVR for imagination movers. Perhaps because they are different lineups? I probably have to read the manual.

The experts will chime in, but the first thing to check is the guide data. If Sage does not know that they are the same exact show (perhaps one has no specific episode id) then Sage cannot pick one or the other. If it thinks the show on your HDPVR is different than the one it has access on your other tuner, it cannot resolve the "conflict" successfully.

One tid bit about the guide, is that if the show has no "description" and/or episode id, Sage will automatically record it. I assume this is because Sage is unable to determine if the show is new/old/watched/unwatched etc and it would rather be safe than sorry. I see this a lot for South Park (yeah for the kids I don't have....). MTV plays old episodes of South Park but there is never any guide data so I end up with a whole slew of episodes that I have seen that have no guide data. Just something also to look at.
