USB-UIRT Questions

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am wondering if this will allow sagetv to change channels automatically when it has a scheduling recording? I will be using it in conjunction with a comcast cable box. Anything info i should know before hand?

I am using one of these. It really allows you to do two things (at least these two things LOL).

1. Use any remote to control SageTV.
2. Blast IR commands to your cablebox to do exactly what you are wanting to do. However, it has a rather "silly" design IMO with the blaster and receiver on the front of the device. I don't really see how this could work for anybody who uses both of the USB-UIRT functions... but maybe I'm missing something? Anyway, this is easily "fixed" by plugging in an external blaster cable. I had one laying around that works just fine. Most likely just needs to fit the jack on the USB-UIRT and it'll work

Thanks for the info. This looks like it should do everything that i am looking for especially since i will be only using one cable box for now.
