Update Frozen

I recently updated to version 7 on my WHS - everything went suprisingly smooth. I then began to update each of the three HD200s - again smooth. Added the SageMyMovies plug-in and I cannot reconnect to my server - it just freezes when trying to connect. I can get into the stand-alone mode. I have tried to reset the settings to the factory defaults several times, although after each reset - the most up to date update is still installed. When I try to connect to the server, it locks up again. This is only happening with one HD200 box, the other two connect to the server fine.

Is there any way to force an update on the HD200? I have reviewed the USB procedure which gives you a file to download. Everytime I try to download the .ver file, a new window appears with a string of numbers. I have successfully downloaded the .bin file and attempted the server method without success.

Any suggestions?

there may be a problem with the client.properties file for that particular extender. it will reside in the Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\Clients, and be named [EXTENDER MAC ADDRESS].properties. You might try either removing, or renaming that .properties file, and see if it works. (removing or renaming it will cause it to start a fresh one, based on the server's 'default' proeprties).

Before I noticed your post, I was playing around a bit.

I used one of the working HD200s to examine the installed plugins and sure enough the SageMyMovies UI had an indicator that showed it failed. I then proceeded to uninstall all associated plug-ins for SageMyMovies with a restart after every uninstall. Everything went smoothly. I started the HD200 box which was previously freezing at the server connection screen. To my relief, the problem was resolved and I was back into the extender menu
