Comcast USB-UIRT codes
I've tried working with Sage tech support and USB-UIRT tech support on this and so far I haven't found a solution. I'm trying to program the IR codes for my Comcast Motorola MSCC 9062 cable box. If I use the USB-UIRT program, or Sage to learn the codes, they won't function. I managed to find a set of codes online that work for 1-9, but haven't found anything for 0. To make matters worse, every time I try to learn the 0, I get a different result. The codes that work for 1-9 are about 1/2 the length of the codes that come up when I try to learn them from the remote.
Has anyone run into this before? Does anyone have a set of codes that work for one of these boxes? |

Have you tried using the LrnHelper program? You can learn and test the codes with LrnHelper. Hold the remote control about a couple inches from teh USB-UIRT when you are learning the codes. Then copy and paste the working code into your IR file.
Here a web site I found that has a screenshot of the LrnHelper program in use. http://www.suecenter.org/remote/ Dave |
