USB-UIRT...need to learn codes twice??

I read on this forum somewhere, that I would need to program the code from my remote twice for each number? Is that correct?

Thanks

If you have a remote that sends two different codes for each button (like the hauppauge remotes) then yes.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I did notice last night I can make it miss the first digit more frequently if I hold the buttons down or press them twice quickly.

I'm trying to learn my STB remote. DCT6200. Do I need to do that for this remote? Also, if I do, do I just learn each number twice? Is that it?

Thanks

I don't know if that remote needs it or not. Give it a shot, just learn each button twice (in a row, don't go through them all, and then again). It should be pretty easy to tell, you'll see the code be different the second time.

Oh, and is this for controlling Sage or are you trying to learn it's codes for so Sage can control it? I wouldn't think you'd have to bother learning both codes for setting up the blaster.

I'm just learning the codes so Sage can change the channel on STB.

Thanks
