Question Brite-View Wireless 1080p HD Video/Audio Transmission Kit

Anyone tried these? Reviews seem OK.
I have a problem getting cables across 6 beams in ceiling between floors to projector.

LOS between (HD300/DVD/Wii) via tuner unit and ceiling projector is about 15 feet so falls well in its specs. My tuner unit has all 3 above units coming in and I only need one HDMI out to projector.
Have ordered...

You might want to check their forums - seems lots of people having issues where it appears a network is in HD and then runs some SD commercials and then back to HD show. Seems to make it blank out.

I've heard of the 5GHz band they use. That's a solid tactic and designed for that sort of thing, like wireless USB. I think you'd be wise to make sure you don't have other 5GHz stuff - some older cordless phones, 802.11a (business equivalent of 802.11g, seldom used), etc.

If memory serves, microwave ovens are down in the 2GHz area, as are cells (1.8GHz and 900MHz), so I would think you'd be ok on those areas.

Looks like the unit can't handle going from 1080i, 1080p or 720p to 480i commercials and such, much like HD-PVR's seem to struggle with. That seems to be the main gripe on their forum, and a deal-breaker for many of their clients. Sounds like when they pipe local channels that might flip-flop on resolutions )from their satellite receivers) is when the problems begin. That seems plausible.

I don't know what you will feed it, but if you can lock the output that appears to work well. I'd check those threads on their forum and make sure that's not you before I took the plunge.
