Factory Reset

I'm trying (so far unsucessfully) to get the HD300 hooked up and working with the MyMovies plug in and a SageTV server.

I'd like to reset the HD300 to factory defaults and start clean. Is that possible? If it is, how?

Instructions for resetting the HD300 itself are in the manual that came with it. If you've lost yours, there's a link in the sticky post at the top of the forum.

But that won't have much effect on what you see when it's connected to a SageTV server, since those UI settings are stored on the server. Look for a .properties file in the SageTV\SageTV\clients folder with the MAC address of your unit as its filename. Delete or rename that file and reconnect your unit and it should revert to the server's UI defaults (which, again, are different from the unit's own factory default settings).

Greg: Thank you. I had found the reset instructions not long after I posted, but I would have not figured out the server storage spot. That will probably help a lot. Much appreciated.
