WHS2011 + DE -like Solutions?

So, with WHS2011 not including DE, I am curious to get feedback from others to understand their thoughts. I see some alternatives out there for DE like Division-M's Driver Bender and a few others...

I am a BIG fan of WHS + DE for my disk pooling and don't want to give it up...

What are you thoughts?

-Matt

I am going to try a couple of the Drive Extender apps after they are out of beta...Drive Bender is one that look interesting.

I too will miss DE, but I also want to move on with 64bit and continue the server train...bad move for Microsoft.

Third party add-ons might do a better job anyway, we will see.

The third-party products that I've heard most about are

1) DriveBender
2) StableBit DrivePool
3) DataCore

It looks like the last two are intended for Vail (or at least newer releases of Windows). Some might be able to work on Windows7.

Searching WHS & Drive Extender alternatives will reveal a wealth of articles.

Right now the beta reports on DriveBender are emphasizing that testing should not be on productive data so it will be a while IMO before these products are ready to be relied upon.
