Is it possible to control the IR.exe from the command line? Need to 'wake up' STB
Hello -
My cable provider changed how they stream their channels to the STB. If my TV is dormant for more than 4 hours, they send the box into a "sleep/screensaver" mode. I can avoid this happening if I do something on the box ever 3 hours and 59 minutes. Is there a way I can send a command to the IR.exe (Hauppaugge IR blaster) to do something? If I could create a bat script to do this and then set it up on my scheduler I think that would be a viable solution. Anyone had to do this before? Thanks, Brian |
