Yeah, the date and time I'm displaying now are EXIF, but they are retrieved from getter methods that are overloaded by Sage to return the date and time when passed in a picture. I think the actual methods I'm calling are getEpisode() and getDuration()...

screensaver - grouping pictures

Would'nt it be nice if screensaver would show pictures grouped by date or folder - 5 to 10 related pictures and then another group of 5 to 10 related pictures. Jumping from one picture to another which are not related is a little bit to restless in my point of view.

jump to now in program guide

In default UI you can press "Guide"-button a second time in program guide to jump to now - in P2 this button toggles between programm guide and current screen. Whats the best option to jump to now in P2 ?

In the next release it will be 'Options - Up - Select'. That functionality got left un-linked in the current release.

toggling between the guide and the current screen is a much better design...

(old thread I know...)

I don't find this to be true, plugins that are disabled by Phoenix2 (i.e. SJQ UI, Commercial detector UI etc.) are not automatically re-enabled when switching back to the default UI. Is there any way for this behavior to change?

Just to clarify, Phoenix/Phoenix2 will not "disable" any plugins. A function of the core SageTV plugin system, is that when you write a plugin, especially a UI plugin, you target the STV name in which that plugin runs. When SageTV starts up, and loads the STV, it then processes the STV plugins for that STV. This is nothing to do with Phoenix but rather the core SageTV plugin system. Since Phoenix uses a different STV name from the default STV, default STV plugins are never loaded in Phoenix. But the expectation is that when you re-load the default stv, then default stv plugins are loaded. I'm unsure what happens when Phoenix delegates to the default stv for some operations. It may be that during those cases, the default stv plugins are not loaded, but I don't know for sure.

Two things missing for me in latest version. Would like info button to bring up detailed info on TV shows rather than system info? Also in the EPG a way to skip 24 hours forward (you can do this on default UI)
