I can't speak for the UI side... but right now the Phoenix core code is going through a bit of clean-up/refactoring. I'm skeptical that we'll have another build by the weekend... I could be wrong... but I wouldn't count it

Not Scared. But not ready either. Lots of improvements coming in the next build. And some new stuff :

+1 I'd settle for some of the list if all is too much.

Here's a variation on the Grid View - same screen just a different mode if you will :

Like that look, just a question though.

Is this a detail from the above poster view that further breaks down the series with season banners?

Or is it a different view altogether that would display all series with each season having it's own banner?

Grant

ex. I have something like 10 seasons of the Three Stooges, would I have to scroll through each season banner to get to next show?

The Browser is called 'Art Flow' - and you can choose either Banners (which gets you a vertical list like the one just pictured) or Posters which gets you the grid view seen earlier. Once you select one at a high level you get a text list of whatever is one level down - probably a list of episodes, or a bunch of "Season X" folders.

Couple of screenshots from plex skins to be used as inspiration on the tv banner views.. I think the banner view u have shown us blocks the fan art just a lil to much.. I'll search around for others too...

This would be an episode View. Not sure if BMT/Phoenix supports images for episodes yet.

I thought of a feature that I would like to see in the UMB. A letter bar or a search bar whatever it's called. I know that one can search using the Skip forward button and going to find. It's not that intuitive though.

An alternative or compromise maybe could be pressing the right arrow. Right now it launches a dialog for the focused movie. Where you can see some additional fanart and play the movie etc. What if pressing the right arrow launched that search like FIND? Or give the option to define what happens there but an option to search or get a letter bar would be sweet. Because hitting enter on the focused movie already gets that fanart screen...

You can hit numbers to get that percentage through the list - 0 is the end, 1 the top, 2-9 all of the points in between.

The "List Search Method" option has to be set to PERCENT for this to work. If it's set to REGEX you'll see some regex matching going on instead of jumping around.

Where is the list search method changed? I've seen it before but for the life of me I can't find it.

In your version it should be in the UMB option menu context sensitive list (Configure Browser maybe?) So options while in the UMB and you should be able to find it in there somewhere.

In the next release it's moved.
