HD200 and HD300 Close By - Can The Remotes Be Assigned?

I am considering adding an HD300 on our TV, and moving my HD200 to my son's gaming TV, which is about 6 feet away in the same family room.

My question is this - many remotes offer an A/B function, such as my Blu-Ray carousel remote, so, if you just had to have 800 rather than 400 Blu-Rays, remote A would only control carousel A, and the same with the B combo.

Does Sage have any provision for this with their remote/extender combos? Or will they interfere with each other?

I'm assuming grabbing one of my old Hauppauge 45-button remotes would not help a bit since it would blast both extenders as well, but I thought maybe in the properties file of each they had the ability to "register" a Sage remote, and that maybe each Sage remote could send a unique signal out.

Or am I just hopin' and dreamin' ?

Thanks for any help.

Not in the remotes themselves, but the extenders can learn codes from a lot of remotes, so you could learn new codes for one of the extenders from a different remote.
