Customizing the order of items in the Landing Zone

Is there a way to change the order of items in the landing zone?

For instance, under TV, I'd like to make the Guide the first item... how do you do that?

There is ADM plugin but don't think plugins work with Phoenix.

Works GREAT with Diamond. And the latest changes (not public yet) jusjoken is making will just make it BETTER and BETTER.

The upcoming features will let you put any TV Recording view or any Diamond View (standard or custom) anywhere in the menus (even top level) that you wish.
He also has a Background Manager which will make it SO easy to choose a different picture for any/every menu item. Easy to change and manage.

Looks like I can just manipulate the XML "LandingMenu.xml" for the menu items...

Has anyone created a visual editor for the XML?

This is built into Phoenix. Hit the options button. Choose Options under "Context Sensitive Menu Options". Scroll down to Customize Landing Zone. Hit select. With TV highlighted hit the right arrow twice. Select an item on the menu and hit the right arrow again. You can now use the arrow keys to move the menu up and down. Hope that helps.

Thanks - that works great, though it wasnt so obvious (but I get it now).

Is there any way to turn on/off the items in the top screen status bar (i.e. disable/enable diskspace, weather, date...)

I don't believe that is currently possible. Through the GUI.

Nothing in the gui for that, it might be in the xml but I haven't tried that yet.

Sorry, everything in the top bar is hard coded. We'll look into making it customizable in the future.

A simple enable/disable would be great - doesnt need to be customizable for now...

If it was at least exposed in the XML we could edit it by hand...
