Question about scrolling through lists

I have an HD300, and my backend has over 900 shows. Currently on the Watch Recorded TV listings, I have them sorted alphabetically.

My question is, is there a way to "jump" through the list (either page at a time, or just to a particular letter)? Or is there a way to map a remote key to do page up/down? Cursoring down the list to get to "White Collar" definitely doesn't improve the WAF.

The channel up/down keys will advance by page. There is a page up/down command, but using channel up/down works fine for most folks.

The stock v7 ui also does alpha filtering if u use the number keys....I believe. It's been so long since I used the standard ui I can't say for sure, but give it a try.
