HD300 Support

Our HD300 just recently start freezing that pressing on any buttons on remote controls does nothing but it will power off when we press the power button

Once we cycle power it will work again for awhile then freezes or go black which require us to power cycle.

And very recent we could no longer power cycle with remote then we had to go unplug it from power outlet to get it working again.

Over a week ago we filled out the support request form and still have not heard back yet, we did read that they are still providing support somewhere on this forum but how do we reach them?

Thank you

Bill

SageTV is still replacing HD300s under the one-year warranty.

I have an HD300 acting the same way and just sent it in to Google for an repair/exchange. I think they only have one person who does the support and he could be swamped right now or on vacation.

Have you tried a Firmware reload ?

I had one my HD300s will doing odd things, mainly freezing. After a few days of unplugging / re-plugging, I did a firmware reload had haven't had any issues since.

Unplug the power cable. Plug it back in while holding down the 'back' button on the remote. It will load the Service menu. One of the options is to reload the firmware from either USB or the internet. I used the internet option and it worked fine for me. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes.

I still heard nothing from support yet

Going to try reloading firmware and see if that solve the problem but if not then try contacting support again
