Menu Manager -> External App -> Browsing

So i'm trying to set up a netflix external app launch on my main client, and I can't seem to get it working. I'm trying to run a program on the client that will then take care of all operations needed to watch netflix (it's actually girder's event.exe). However, when attempting to set up the menu item, it won't let me browse the local client filesystem.. The file-picker seems to be stuck on the server instead. I have even tried picking a random file on the server, exporting the menus, and reimporting them, and then I'm getting an error when it tries to launch the correct path to the file. Where are the menus stored in the client's filesystem, so I can verify the path is correct there?

Okay, quick update - it seems there is a problem with the escaping the menu manager is putting in the exported file. I went into the exported file, an removed the redundant backslashes, reimported it, and it works correctly. So, either it is outputting escape characters it shouldn't, or is not removing them on import. So really, this is two problems:

1. Menu Manager should navigate the local filesystem when browsing to set the ExternalApplication property.

2. The Import/Export should either escape, or not escape - as long as they both treat it the same way. Consistancy with other Sage .properties files would be to escape special characters with a backslash.

Fixed in the next release (date TBD).

As info I broke the import in the last release when I changed it to be able to read the import from the server... as I had to write the import from properties routine myself to be able to pull the file from the server I had missed the removing of the escaped characters. This had also caused an issue with Folder Filters which MKANET caught.

Thanks to both of you for finding this... and once released... let me know if it solves your issues.

PS: I also changed the Menu Manager External Application dialog to use the local file system.
