Using "Simplified Flow" For Recordings

Been playing around with Gemstone for a few days now, and using the simplified flow view for my recordings seems like a great way for me to add fanart banners to my recordings, while retaining a general layout that the family is familiar and happy with. The only problem with it, is that when I delete an episode after watching it, it is not being completely removed. The fanart is no longer displayed when all episodes for said show have been deleted, but the episode(s) re still listed. The files will no longer play back, so i'm guessing the file names are just not getting cleaned out. Any suggestions?

One other question while i'm at it, is there any way to display banners at the top of the gemstone EPG instead of the poster/clip?

The delete should be working as of one of the last releases.... so can you let me know the steps you are taking for delete. It may also help if you let me know what View you are using for the Simplified Flow (TV Shows, TV Shows (Seasons), or some Custom View etc).... and a few screen grabs may help to see what you are seeing (and shouldn't be) after a delete!

Regarding the EPG... at this time we do not use the Banner Fanart in the EPG. You can turn on the Full Screen EPG which will then offer options for the Gemstone Info to be displayed on the right side of the screen instead of the top of the screen with more options.... but no banners so far.

Thanks for the response, i'm using the tv shows view of simplified flow. I got it setup so that the first level of recordings show the shows with banners, and the second level shows individual episodes for that show all in the same level, without banners, but with background fanart and side poster enabled. I'll try and get some pictures posted by sunday.

I'll bet your doing what I do... push delete just before the show ends? If so, the show does get deleted but the listing info doesn't refresh.... you can refresh cached view (options button) to force the refresh.

If you're at the episode listing and delete it should force a refresh on its own... at least this is how it works in my reality....

actually no, the recordings in question had been recorded days prior. I watched them, deleted them, the fanart disappeared and I could no longer play them, but the "episode" and metadata remained
