I have a bunch of plugins that need to be migrated off of google code. The good news is that Sourceforge made it real easy to do.

I had already moved my few plugins to sourceforge. I just hadn't submitted updates to the plugin repository to point there, until last night.

The reason I moved to sourceforge was that there was an easy import tool when Google Code stopped allowing binary distributions. That's something that github lacks too (release hosting). It's nice to have everything in the same place.

After posting this, I did some searching. I've found Bitbucket. It has everything I'm looking for, including binary hosting. It seems a lot more modern than Source Forge. I've also been having some uptime issues with Source Forge (in just the week or so that I've been using it.).

I'll be using Bitbucket going forward.
