Can't connect to V9 Server with V7 Client
I updated my sage server to V9 (on a Windows 7 box) by replacing the 2 jars. Works fine, I can connect via my HD300 but a V7 client on another windows machine can't connect. Any suggestions?

You also have to install the jars in the Client too bring it up to the 9 version.

That did the trick. Thanks. I thought V9 was backwardly compatible, guess not with regards to clients.

It is with "miniclients", ie extenders, placeshifter, but not full clients.

Or, more accurately, miniclients are compatible with basically any version of Sage (I'm sure there's some old version that doesn't support them), but SageTV Client always needs to be in sync with the server.
