Import all Videos as Recordings?

There is a handy feature in BMT for "Import TV Media Types as Recordings". If you place a video into an import directory, and BMT finds TV metadata for it, then it gets added to the Recordings screen (instead of staying in the imported video area).

Is there a way to make sure every imported video gets added as a TV Recording, even if no metadata was found for it?

I spend almost all of my time in the recordings screen so it's a bit cumbersome to go looking in the imports area.

Might want to add this as a request as I believe jusjoken has plans to update BMT.

So all videos, whether downloads, rips, etc., could appear as recordings? That would be useful

How do you do that? And not one - by one. If you are importing thousands of recordings, how do you have them default to be TV shows rather than Movies?
