Oh NO! I went to check my recording schedule, my server seems to be crashed, and I'm not going home tonight. They'll replay it, right? I'm still scarred after I accidentally deleted the season finale last year and didn't get to see it until last week.

I'm sad.

Anyone else find it funny that Crashless' server has crashed?
Might have to change your name to 'CrashedOnce' now.
J/K crashless. I hope your server gets better.

I know, I'm a fraud...

I'm always embarrased to post issues I'm having for that very reason. Oh well, I've used this handle/alias/user name for a LONG time, and never really felt like thinking of a new one.

Hehe, you should see reactions to my posts in the porsche forums I frequent. LOTs of smart-asses over there.

Who needs to set anything

I'll definitely be burning a few hours on my MT700 tonight. I'll start somewhat late of course to avoid the <caugh>brainwashing</caugh> commercialls.

Argh! Damned Americans!

Not sure whether the UK approach is better or worse. We start a long time after you guys, but then eventually catch up because we don't have a mid season break.

Having said that, i'm still catching my breath from the end of 24, the thought of new SG1/Atlantis/BSG almost makes me forget about the wait for Sage 3

Nick.

Glad you didn't say more! We just got to 5pm last night, 12 epsisodes to go. Those nuisance mid-season breaks etc. are rather meaningless when you record the entire season and watch later. When we're done watching 24 (probably tomorrow night or day after) we'll start watching Alias. Won't start watching the new seasons of SG1, Atlantis or BSG for quite some time. (though last nights episodes are comskip processing on this workstation as I type... ) SageTV certainly beats the hell out of using 4 VCRs to record stuff like we used to!

Actually, the first season of BSG aired on Sky One before airing in the USA.

Actually, the first season of BSG began September 17, 1978 aired on ABC in the US. I don't believe Sky One existed yet.

You know what, I did forget about it. Or, more accurately, I didn't even know the new season was about to start. But, I got up this morning and saw BG in my recordings list. THAT's why I love PVRs in general and Sage in particular. I setup that favorite last year, and so now I never have to remember (or even know) when a new season starts...Sage does!

Sage is great!

Just have to watch for them to NOT change the name of a show! For example first season called "Navy NCIS". Second season they figured out they screwed up and changed it to simply NCIS. (Since the "N" in NCIS stood for Navy the 1st season the were repeating it in the title...) Fortunately we caught it. But not something Sage can catch on it's own.

Well, I was out of High School and out of 3yrs in the Army when it first aired. Truth be told didn't remember the date, googled for it. Speaking of remembering the original air date combined with , and well back then I was quite a bit so remembering might be a challenge.

BTW, uh, I wouldn't exactly consider you an old fart since you were only 5 when BSG first aired! (according to your profile anyway)
