mplayer source?

Where do I find the source for the mplayer binary that comes with the placeshifter client?

The sageified mplayer hates my radeon video card for some reason, think a little hacking is in order.

here :

http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html

But I'm not sure how much that's going to help you. See thread :

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23716

I think Sage might change something in their version because the non-Sage versions don't seem to being liked being passed -stream-buffer-size (I've seen this on Solaris and the thread above mentions seeing it on Linux)

Good luck

Tim

No replies?

I guess I'll live with nvidia then.

I would suggest to any Sage folks that are reading this thread that they do need to look at the terms of the GPL, though, to cover themselves.

I believe they will send you the source code if you request it directly from them. I'm sure I've seen another thread dicussing this somewhere.

Yup, it is available upon request, from the SageTV 6.1? thread.

Hmmm... there's no copy of the license with the binary in the Linux version, nor is there a written offer for source code. They are supposed to include both.

But, I'll try the email route.
