Problem with EXEMultiTunerPlugin

So I've extracted EXEMultiTunerPlugin.dll to the sagetv
common dir, but when I setup a new video source I don't get the EXEMultiTunerPlugin option to control my box. Any ideas? I'm using SageTV 5.0 with cayars STV.

Hi,

I don't know if you've seen it, but I wrote a small guide to installing the exemultituner plugin. It is in the Guides and Tutorials download section. Maybe that might give you some ideas?

Aloha,
Mike

I did see it and followed the instructions exactly, but for some reason Sagetv doesn't seem to see the plugin.

I havent't heard of this problem before, so I'm not sure what to suggest.
I suppose you could enter the plugin info manually into your sage.properties file (back it up first )

Here are the relevent lines from my sage.properties file (the numbers are specific to your encoder(s)):

Code:
mmc/encoders/551195576/3/0/tuning_mode=
mmc/encoders/551195576/3/0/tuning_plugin=C\:\\Program Files\\SageTV\\Common\\EXEMultiTunerPlugin.dll
mmc/encoders/551195576/3/0/tuning_plugin_port=0
Maybe someone else will have a better idea. Sorry.

Aloha,
Mike

Edit: Have you tried rebooting since extracting the .dll into the common directory? If you are running the service, maybe it has to restart to see the dll.

Finally figured it out. My directory structure is all messed up from the last time I installed sage so the common dir wasn't the right one. Nice guide btw, everything is working fine now.
