No channels found with FIREDTV DVB-C

Acutally I am testing the trial version of SAGETV for evaluation of its functionality.

My hardware setup is well running with other software like MyTHEATRE, the accompanying software of FIRE-DTV.

right now I face the problem, that SAGETV doesn´t find any channels while tuning during setup. - I guess the reason for mailfunction is that I am connected by cable and there no transponder lists provided from the provider. - Is there any way to tell SAGETV to scan all frequencies from 50MHZ up to 800Mhz @ 6900 MBd? - I am quiet sure that this is the reason why it doens´t work right now.

I hope to get an positive answer, because as an desperated TVCENTRAL user I would be very happy to bring SAGETV to life and move then totally to SAGETV.

I had the same problem and just edited the predefinedscancable file.

I've used an existing provider and changed it to something like this:

"Netherlands-Casema"=[(50500,6900)+3,
(57500,6900)+3,
(64500,6900)+3,
(71500,6900)+3,
(78500,6900)+3,
.
.
.
(842000,6900)+3,
(850000,6900)+3,
(858000,6900)+3,{}]

It requires some typework but now my FireDTV works with my cable-provider!
