slow response after client is sent to system tray

Hi

I have just upgraded my server to 6.2.6 and also my other pc which has the client installed on it.

After I have put my sagetv client to sleep I find that clicking on the icon in the system tray now has a 6-7 second delay before there is any action e.g. right clicking brings up the Restore, Exit and Cancel options. Previously it was instant now takes 6-7 seconds to see the menu

Anybody else seen this?

Also when I sent the pseudo client on my server to sleep it results in a spike of CPU. I know this because the fan kicks in for about 10 seconds or so

Actually the slow response of the client is due to the same cpu spike that I see on the server.

When I send the client to standby I can see that one of my CPUs goes to nearly 100% activity. I'll alter the title of the thread and file a bug

Anybody else seen this?

I believe it is the same issue I reported a while back & it was fixed for the next release -- every time I put SageTV to sleep in the system tray, cpu usage was high for a while & I couldn't wake it again until it settled down again.

Sounds like the same thing.

Support mentioned that it had been diagnosed as a bug related to 3d acceleration. I disabled 3d acceleration but still got the same cpu spike.

Is that what you would expect for the issue you reported?

After I tried disabling 3D & putting it to sleep, it happened again too... but it took several tries for it to do it. I'll ask about it.
