HDHomerun BDA - will it fix this?
Last night I had a scheduled recording go off on the wrong tuner.
It was on ABC - Boston Legal. Due to the merit's I have setup I was expecting it to record in HD on one of the HDHomeRun tuners. However, I ended up with a recording in SD from one of the PVR-500 tuners. My server is headless - no monitor attached. I logged in via Remote Desktop Connection - and it acted like I was not logged in - I got to watch all of the startup stuff loading up - including HDHomeRun Manager. So I think for some reason the default user on the Server wasn't logged in, so HDHomeRun manager wasn't active, so Sage didn't see the HDHomeRun tuners. Will switching over to the BDA drivers fix this? I have the server setup to auto login, so I'm not sure how I got logged out. But I'll worry about that separately....

My understanding is that with the BDA drivers HD Homerun Manager is no longer needed, so if you have SageTV running as a service it should be able to record from the HDHR just fine even when not logged in.
