Control DirectTV With Sage
I am planning on setting up my SageTV machine to control my DirectTV (D11-100) STBs with direct serial. The problem is that I only have 1 serial port and need 3. I was wondering if anyone has used the Paterson USB TV Translator cable cable connected to a Serial to USB adapter. Thus making it a USB to USB connection between DirectTV and Sage. Is there anyway to get Sage to control the DirectTV STB with just a normal USB cable?

4 Serial ports using BAFO 810 USB adapters and the PatersonTech devices. You could read here: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php...TV_D11_via_USB But I have no direct experience.

I am using the Patterson serial/USB through a USB/Serial adapter. Works fine... no issues. I only needed 1 converter (I had 1 serial port on PC) so I went this route. If I needed more, I would probably have gone the route from Jenkins above

USB translator with H20-600
I have been unable to setup a TV translator with a H20-600. The TV translator sets up on Com3 and I don't have but one com port, Com1. Anyone have an idea what is happening?
